**Disclaimer**After my devotions in the mornings I have a prayer journal in which, I write down my thoughts on the devotional so that if I wanted to I could reference them later. I wrote all these prayers down and I felt compelled to share with everyone who cares to read it. I want to share the power and mercy that God has shown me in my life and in these prayers and testimonies someone else could feel the same way I do and could use this as a tool of encouragement. So I am trying to try to post these at least every other day and share what God has and is doing in my life.

Progress must be made. I CANNOT AND WILL NOT be held hostage by sin. The enemy can fight me and try to destroy me. He knows where I hurt. He knows what buttons to push he knows where I am weak, BUT where I am weak HE IS STRONG. With God on my side I CANNOT lose. I will always conquer over evil. I will destroy the foes that rise against me. I will be the victor because Christ has already won. He defeated death and rose again into life. Paid my penance. Erased my debt. I WILL NOT BE HELD BACK!!! Progress will be made and I will CONTINUE NO MATTER WHAT to RUN after God pursuing him till I am exhausted and then I will run EVEN HARDER because MY GOD IS MY STRENGTH and I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!!!
Sin is all around us creeping lurking looking to devour.
With this we choose to indulge rather than being a strong tower
Hebrews 12:29 says for our God is a consuming fire
Instead we treat him as a savior for Hire
when will we stop pretending we have all the answers
And point them to the God who has the cure for cancers
We may be able to choose how to live however we wish
but living a life of sin leads to death like taking water from a fish
Sin is ever present even in the choices we make
don’t let your life be the next one sin will take

When will there be a day where it’s just you and me?
You say your busy with family and friends and fixing your car.
Don’t you understand I gave you everything you see?
So when? When will it be you and me? It hasn’t happened so far.
You live your life at a fast pace going here and there
Mean while your forgetting me… I used to be important
You are starting to walk away from me tripping on the path and u don’t even care.
Full of empty promises like camping in a storm with a leaky tent.
But you know what I always kept my promises always gave you my word.
I gave you no reason to doubt just only room to trust me.
So when? When will you let me back in you life in first place instead of third?
How long must I wait for you to realize again and again I am the key?
So Joe I wait for you in the back of your mind rotting in time I wait for you
I want you to make me first again so I can help you fulfill the desires of your heart!
Not by your own strength but mine is the only way you’ll get through
I’ll push and I’ll wait and sit here and question when will i start being the target instead of your Walmart
Coming to me for everything you need until you run out or you need something new
You cannot come to me with a wish list anymore I need you and ALL OF YOU!
Really Joe that’s all I’m asking, All I’m asking you to do.
So when? When will be the day where it’s just me and you?
